    South Norfolk Place-Making Guide

Currently under public consultation by South Norfolk Council is the South Norfolk Place-Making Guide. The excerpt below is taken from the South Norfolk website and full details and all documentation can be found at http://www.south-norfolk.gov.uk/planning/5287.asp

The purpose of the South Norfolk Place-Making Guide is to promote and secure good quality design in new development within the District and to make it clear what we expect when deciding planning applications.

The guide expands upon planning policies in the Greater Norwich Development Partnership, Joint Core Strategy 2011, and in particular Policy 2 ‘Promoting Good Design’.

Following consultation, the guide will be reviewed and updated as necessary and adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and will therefore be used when determining planning applications.

We are now seeking views on the contents and guidance set out within the draft document.

You can view the South Norfolk Place-Making Guide by following the link above and comment on its contents by clicking here.

Alternatively, you can download and print the response form and return it by post.

    Please respond by 5pm, 6 June 2012.
